About Our Founder
My Background
🎓 Education
I studied both History at Cambridge and Accounting at the University of Cape Town, giving me a foundation that blends critical thinking with technical rigour. At UCT, I also lectured auditing as an academic trainee.
More recently, I earned a Professional Diploma in Digital Learning Design, which means I don’t just know my subject—I know how to teach it effectively.
This mix of disciplines means my courses are both intellectually rigorous and practical enough to use immediately.

💼 Professional
My career spans the full audit ecosystem. I began in external audit at EY (covering FMCG, asset management, banking, and charities), before moving into internal audit leadership across EMEA at WPP.
Later, as a Director at a boutique contract compliance audit firm, I worked with global brands including adidas, Bayer, Barclays and the UK Government.
This breadth of experience means I’ve seen how audit challenges play out across industries, regions, and governance contexts.

🌍 Diverse Experiences
I’ve worked in South Africa, the UK, and across the EMEA region, collaborating with diverse teams across languages, cultures, and industries.
Along the way, I’ve experienced learning from every angle—student, lecturer, team trainer, and lifelong learner.
This mix of perspectives shapes how I design courses today: practical, globally relevant, and rooted in the real human dynamics of audit.

My approach to CPD
Over time, across classrooms, teams, boardrooms, and continents, I’ve developed a clear philosophy about what meaningful CPD looks like—especially in a profession as complex and evolving as audit.
I’ve delivered lectures, facilitated team training, designed online learning, and spent many years as a learner myself.
